Act Now!

Ask Congress to Prevent Home Health Cuts that will Devastate Access to Care

Legislation has been introduced in the Senate designed to prevent CMS from moving forward with their proposed 7.69% payment cut for CY2023. The bill, the Preserving Access to Home Health Act, S. 4605 is being led by Senators Debbie Stabenow and Susan Collins. It would freeze the current payment rate in place, with the exception of annual market basket updates, through 2025.

Please urge your Senators to sign on to it. Calls and personal messages are best, but for those short on time a message has been pre-drafted and is ready to go in the NAHC Virtual Advocacy Center at this link https://p2a.co/UG5NwSs?fbclid=IwAR2APRLppuj4ry2aWDDYy2-YOBeOdX2alDriCtOtbQT-p73SE6wpRNYjbwM. A House version of the same bill is expected soon.

MEDICARE PAYMENT CUTS THREATEN THE HOME HEALTHCARE SYSTEM – VALUED BY AMERICA’S SENIORS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

HELP US FIGHT FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT FIGHT FOR THEMSELVES.
