• Quality Measures: CMS has released new Technical Specification Reports for the Falls with Major Injury (FMI) measure, incorporating feedback from a Technical Expert Panel. These reports provide an overview of the measure and key features.

• Payment Adjustments: CMS has finalized updates to the 2026 Home Health Prospective Payment System, which includes a 1.3% pay cut and adjustments tied to the patient-driven groupings model. This adjustment reflects data from 2020 through 2022 and was reduced from initial proposals after stakeholder feedback. 

• Moratoria: CMS announced two nationwide, six-month moratoria on Medicare enrollment of new hospices and home health agencies. This moratorium applies to initial enrollment applications and certain change of ownership filings requiring initial enrollment.
